Before I got motivated to even start eating clean,
I was always spamming sweetened drinks, junk food like chips & fast food.
Hated plain water. Loved fried food, late dinners / suppers.
Used to think that those who work out & jogs are crazy people
would give them the talk to my hand pose if they were to ask me for a run
(basically just super not sporty but still wanna anti healthy people)
Then what changed me?
Just wanted to make a difference in me for me
I think that everyone has their WAY of what they want to achieve & what they want for themselves.
I’m not trying to tell you that you should start eating like this and that
or how you should work out and what you should cut down on etc
My diet, My work outs, My business
Not trying to psycho, just sharing.
Sometimes, just cos you don’t personally agree in certain ways that others believe in,
doesn’t mean that they can’t do it.
doesn’t mean that its the WRONG way.
People can SHARE how they achieve certain routines and results
but don’t DEMAND that they should do it your way
unless of cos if you’re a trainer
What’s changed in my diet now is that I’ve cut down A LOT on sweetened drinks
But i still crave to munch on chips every now and then in the office
I still eat fast food but not as often
I’ve cut down entirely on rice. But at times, inevitably, sushi portions of rice when we visit sushi places. Never had rice as a full meal since May 2013
Cutting down on rice has shown results (FOR ME it has #justsaying)
To the extent when people force me to eat rice I will get pissed
I still eat noodles for lunch or dinner
But I always make it a point to change all other kinds of noodles especially yellow noodles to beehoon (I KNOW WHAT & HOW BEEHOON IS MADE OF. Haters, seriously, don’t bother)
I try to keep meals low carb if possible
Made broccoli omelettes in the morning & packed them to work for lunch!
If I don’t remember wrongly,
I used quite a number of eggs but ratio of egg whites to egg yolks is probably 4:2
Steam the broccolis & dice the ham into bits
Then mash up the broccolis & mix the ham bits in
Super filling enough to last me from lunch to skipping dinner
Always make it a point to go get groceries every Sunday
so that I can prep my “Goat food” for work for the week
Goat food like veg meat veg meat also will eat til sian one pls
Craved for beef stew so I randomly went online to search for low carb beef stew recipes
Got the ingredients and then started preparing it the night before
So that it can be slowcooked throughout the night
Next day pack to work for lunch minimal preparations!
I replaced potatoes with radish instead
It turned out really awesome!
10 hours of slow cooking in the slow cooker
Low carb = less corn starch & no potatoes to thicken the stew
so it was pretty watery but still, awesome imo.
Here goes, the series of my “goat food” diet in pictures
The ingredients used in it are clearly visible in photos
Mostly prepped in the morning & brought to work for lunch
I’ve also made it a point not to skip breakfast
Be it a hearty heavy one or a fast light yoghurt
When it comes to dinner, if its gonna be a late dinner,
& if im heading home with no plans after work, I’ll just skip it
I’m not going too hard on myself
I do lots of cheat meals too! MUAHAHAHAHA
Wouldn’t call Soup Spoon a bad meal,
but Im always having beef goulash the soup with the most no. of calories lol
Meals are doubly sinful on weekends
This one….. MASSIVE hahahahaha
Finding happiness in a cup of marble slab
I still have mad cravings for Twelve Cupcakes
SO, if I’ve been extra cheat-y
I will work out extra hard for that week (SOMETIMES)
I’m not a marathon quality runner lol
Longest I can go without having to stop and in approx 33mins is 4km around my favourite running spot – the cage
I don’t do speed I don’t do long distance
I really don’t know I run for what hahahahahaha
I just aim not to stop & walk & just keep going
Other than running I do sets of rotation crunches (favourite)
hips raise squats burpees mountain climbers planks & push ups
Ive tried googling exact meaning of reps & sets but I still can’t differentiate
So don’t ask me I only know I do one go 6mins for abs workout
3mins rest 20secs then another 3mins with the help of my mobile app
